Loads of interesting villages and towns inland too. The border between Cos. Waterford and Tipperary has great walking (Comeragh Mountains especially), and there is also a cycleway across Waterford.

With Dungarvan, west Co. Waterford as a (foodie) base, the coast either side - towards Waterford or Youghal - is full of hidden coves, evidence of trading and mining, a small Gaeltacht with lots of great beaches on the Ring (An Rinn) peninsula.

Final e-series start cheap (c. £20 for the E500) - they're tiny, have plenty of different size tips, and decent cables. They also sound good, at least to me.

I remember it being a big deal when it came out. iPlayer has a massive 'Scotland' badge in the corner, so maybe they taped it off a Scottish telly?
