I live in Uptown in Chicago and I ride my bike.
The Obama Presidential Center under construction in Jackson Park. On first glance it's a concrete block, but closer up you can see a pretty layered pattern in the stone. And the 25-foot stained glass window by Julie Mehretu is stunning.

It's crazy that Uptown secretly has the nicest car-free plaza in the city.

The plaza at the new Clarendon Fieldhouse is gorgeous and sunny. Love the public seating and the mosaic.
