I was at the recording of that show and my memory was, as shown, it was shot from a high angle. All in one take as I remember, including Warren Mitchell dropping a lump of dry ice on the table that he was trying to palm to give the smoke effect.

Is that why my RAC torch doesn't work, it doesn't have RAC batteries?
