They got a state rep to sponsor the legislation and many non profits like the Garment Workers Center provided the organizing labor and gather support.
Brand like ours who care about how workers are treated wrote letters of support to enter into the legislative record.

Look at what the garment workers in LA did to abolish a similarly bad “piece work system” for garment manufacturing
that allowed workers to get much less than minimum wage. They got CA SB62 passed by bldg a big group of concerned parties. It took a lot of work but that is successful template.

Lack of knowledge. When I started planting I would go to the nursery and just look for cool stuff. The native plants section was small and not so showy. Over time I learned about my new home and started recognizing native plants. Then when I “knew” them, it was easier to find them in the nursery.

It’s almost as if people were hungry to hear from the democrats. Keep it up! And stop giving the republicans unanimous consent. If they want to ram thru massively unpopular policies make them do the work.

@warren.senate.gov how about you wake up the party and make this into an ad so it can be seen by everyday Americans. People just don’t know and we need leadership to get the message out.
