Superb take on the issue Rohan, spot on.

I like you Rohan and enjoy your podcast with Rocket but your constant and repetitive referencing of things that were a thing fifty years ago can get irksome. Imagine a commentator in 1980s blathering relentlessly about 1930s.

Read this multiple times in the early eighties. I found it a unique and brilliant depiction of the utter insanity of war, and of life, and think it a work of inspired genius. I fear it may have aged badly and have avoided a revisit to preserve my cherished memories of adoring it.
