pardon the caps - for the record 95% of the ppl who engage with my work do so in good faith with critical thinking & media literacy even when we disagree, it’s just frustrating to spend hours explaining a nuanced point about literature & still have ppl go “not UH cuz this one time at band camp-“

THIS !! I spent 4 hours explaining my issues with the structure of a book by putting screenshots of the literal text on the screen just for ppl to comment that my “critiques are incorrect” bc they really like the main character’s love interest 🙃
