The debate has been ongoing

The fact is the doctors are asking for more money than they are worth, the reference to 2008 is a red herring as hardly any of them would’ve been in practice at the time

They do have an argument about training places and the government has to address that

And just how would you suggest the government charge VAT on air travel in and out of U.K. Air travel is universally exempt from VAT

Meals are included in the price of ticket so no VAT

Ever thought why air travel is zero rated but the government levies Air Passenger Duty

So you acknowledge that terrorists could legitimately target you and your family then.

In other words-target indiscriminately
December 15, 2025 at 5:12 PM
Try this “hero” for starters. And he isn’t alone
December 15, 2025 at 12:51 PM
Problem with your ideas is you see them as a bolt-on not as part of a revised tax system.

The Swiss system works well, but the U.K. left will never countenance a low tax on high earners
December 15, 2025 at 10:44 AM
Never the fault of the shooter.
December 14, 2025 at 10:23 AM
You appear to have confused the ECtHR with the ECHR

ECHR is enshrined in law through the HRA, U.K. courts apply the ECHR in claims made under the HRA

The question to ask, then, is how many cases from Tribunal to Supreme Court have involved immigration matters. The 13 cases line is a red herring

As I recall, the question was asked by a female caller with an American accent

Specsavers are doing a special on hearing aids, you should visit

Her constituency is 96% white British

Lots of talk, little walk
December 12, 2025 at 9:23 AM
The press made a big fuss about 2 racially motivated attacks carried out by white men in the past month- do you disagree with this too and regard it as far left agenda?
December 11, 2025 at 5:26 PM
250,000 Ukrainians?

Predominantly women and children who will return when the war stops

There is your difference.

The people on small boats are unlikely to return, will demand extended family reunion and are predominantly male

Why even raise this?

How many refugees in your constituency?
December 11, 2025 at 1:11 PM
Or a pro- law and order story?

As many as 400K illegal overstayers?

Britain must be the only major country in the world that doesn’t have passport control on exiting the U.K.
December 11, 2025 at 8:18 AM
You were the one suggesting it was designed for white people.
December 10, 2025 at 5:42 PM
Different cultures perhaps?

Cultures at odds with those prevalent in Europe at the time the ECHR was signed?
December 10, 2025 at 5:10 PM
I will, next time I am sat around the fire singing Kumbaya
December 10, 2025 at 9:12 AM
Always one clown around.

Worked for Liberty and was head of Doughty Street chambers

Not watering down human rights - its adjusting it to stop abuses that were not foreseen 75 years ago

Exactly what human rights do you think will be “watered down”

Even human rights campaigners like Starmer and Hermer see the faults - as do other member countries
December 10, 2025 at 8:47 AM
Not migrants per se but specific people who have mainly arrived on British soil illegally, currently seeking asylum in the UK, being accommodated by the state pending asylum resolution and being allowed to wander around freely and without supervision while their identity remains unverified
December 9, 2025 at 5:15 PM
Good heavens, is this the best you’ve got to offer?

Maybe just go and get a proper job, please
December 8, 2025 at 10:32 AM
We also need immigrants to do jobs that are quite frankly below the British.

Better we Brits go on generous unemployment benefits than do jobs that are only fit for 3rd world migrants

Plus we can pay the migrants less, they will take any crumbs we give them
December 7, 2025 at 10:22 AM
As usual no real tax policy from these unqualified activists.

If you lot had half a brain you would advocate a wealth tax system similar to the Swiss - the only country where it has worked

But horror of horrors - this would mean a massive reduction in income tax, particularly for high earners
December 6, 2025 at 10:45 PM
Can every politician vouch for their behaviour when at school?

Can you?

When I was at school being gay was a total slur. We all frowned on homosexuality- one of my close friends is now a cabinet minister

Should I expose his behaviour that occurred 51 years ago and destroy his career
December 6, 2025 at 12:02 PM
Democracy delayed is democracy denied

A customer complaints, Clark as a Chancellor of the Exchequer

But scrapping jury trials is a good idea

As usual, the left have an excuse for everything.

It’s never their fault but they do manage to exacerbate the situation with consummate ease.
December 5, 2025 at 9:54 AM
Poverty defined by bureaucracy

Earnings of less than 60% of median income = poverty

Reality may be different
December 5, 2025 at 9:49 AM
Turn a blind eye to visa abuse and this is the result

Sad for those genuinely wanting to study here and have the competence to do so.

But long overdue given the amount of asylum claims made by those arriving on student visas
