75 minutes, 59 instruction steps, 2 cups of coffee, to achieve about half a gearbox. These 1/8 Lego kits are absurd, this is going to take me forever. I'm so tired after that I've had to lie down. Yay for having sod all energy post-op. Still, at least I did something, right?

Ordered something from Modelmatic while spaced out on the anaesthetic. Could've checked my account to see what it was but thought I'd wait for the surprise. Turns out that doped out me treated me to a sealed 2025 Q case 😱🤣

Staying at Mum's for a while I recover (because I need both help and someone to keep an eye on me). I'd rather be at home of course, but it is nice to be around a cat again. Over a year since Monty passed away and I have missed feline company. Here's Nala asleep on Mum's foot. Because cat gonna cat

There was only one photo I could use to learn Affinity/How to use my drawing tablet, given that I've been using his tutorial all day! Can't stare at this any more - 9 hours deep - so I'm done for now, but I reckon @creatinglightly.art will be delighted when he sees the current progress I'm making...

So I sorted out my fan curves (Which I hadn't done since building this thing in mid '23) and set my l'il monitoring screen up with even more info!

Got the bargain Kamvas 13 working - new monitor meant the one HDMI port on my GPU was now free to plug this in. Just need to get to grips with Affinity Designer 2 now. This may take some time 😂

New monitor is in. I knew it was going to be a major upgrade, but I was NOT prepared for just how good these Odyssey screens are. Absolutely blown away. SO pleased! Even the cursor feels smoother. Going from 60Hz to 240Hz was a hell of a jump...
