"Hold my straw" – RFK Jr. (probably)

Love the idea of magic as a sentient being hating to be manipulated. Usually magic doesn't mind or even encourages to be used, but this is a delightful take.

Would love to see a primer or similar on how to design adventures the DS way, including stuff like that. Every now and again having an eureka moment is fun, but knowing right away would be beneficial.

Name recognition / IP, the above mentioned "good enough", expectations of everything working like the 800 pound gorilla does it ("what do you mean, I just know?") ... all contributing to the status quo not being threatened. But DS is here to stay (and prosper), and that's ... "good enough" 😜

I should add, for those who haven't checked out DS yet, that it's not, in any way really, a clone of said top dog. It's a modern take on old school sentiments, some of which (the presumed (but optional) setting, for instance) are based more in 20th century media than RPGs.

Probably an overused cliché in some groups.

"Avengers Under Siege" was such a great storyline.

I was just made aware that technically, this song is not from the early 90s, as it was released 1990, so it's the late 80s. Not my fault there was no year 0.

[Common Thread is such a great album, but that's beside the point.]

... against the unlawful yet politically funded thugs and killers plaguing the USA (giving the extreme right the world over wet dreams - if you see any party fawning over that wannabe SA, you know precisely where to put them) is balm for my weary soul.
