Yeah but idk, again, I’m not sure if I’m like “allowed” to even be annoyed by this but like… isn’t headcanoning a character as a different gender inherently disrespectful to their current gender? You can headcanon them as trans AND respecting their canon gender at the same time.

Regardless of whether the character is canonically male and hc’d as a trans woman or canonically female and hc’d as a trans man

Maybe I’m not allowed to talk about this because, as far as I know, I’m pretty cisgender, but I just kinda don’t vibe with it, it feels like egg culture and I don’t like it.

I meant that it’s common for people to headcanon characters as being eggs or closeted instead of being trans people identifying as the gender they are in the story.
For example people that headcanon Ralsei as a trans woman because idk he’s cute idk like why can’t you hc him as trans AND male?
