The event focuses on Thomas Clancy's Iona project but Carole will launching the Place-Names of Berwickshire Vol. 1, a major output from the Leverhulme Trust-funded REELS project: Recovering the Earliest English Language in Scotland: evidence from place-names.

If you missed her in Bristol, unconfirmed reports suggest she may be giving an inaugural professorial lecture here at the University of Glasgow at some time in the near future... So for those based in Scotland, watch this space!
