Over the weekend, the residents practiced their bypass skills on turkey legs in a microsuturing course.

Last week, our University of Utah team—in collaboration with the Tanzania Stroke Project, Road2IR, and the Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute—travelled to Tanzania to work with and begin training the inaugural Endovascular Training Program fellows in Dar es Salaam.

Taryn Bragg, MD, recently received the Children’s Advocacy Alliance & Human Services Network 2025 Impact Award. Dr. Bragg is the only full-time, board-certified pediatric neurosurgeon in Nevada and has played a critical role in caring for children throughout the state.
