The current athletic directors needs to become the former athletic director.

Maybe? But Larry has a pretty big appetite for risk if you look at his history. He still owns somewhere around 40% of Oracle’s stock and is pretty aggressive using it as collateral for borrowing. Oracle is also still issuing a dividend, which of course puts a ton of $$ in his pocket quarterly.

This guy is pretty happy I sold all my vested RSUs right after I was RIF’d on Sept 22 along with thousands on my colleagues. Ironically, Sept 22 is the high water mark for the stock. Karma’s a bitch.

100%. It’s a good thing he can’t launch a nuke from his phone.

The equivalent for those of us with college age kids is being able to Venmo a contribution towards door-dashing a five guys milkshake during finals week.

No one is going to enjoy that one. It’ll be a bloodbath. Arsenal fans will be bored, Wolves fans have nothing to cheer for, and there are 9 better matches throughout the weekend.

Is annexation the same as marriage?

Yeah, it’s a good point. But if I’m selling to the Marines, I’m pretty sure they don’t want me to lump sailors into their bucket.

I also long for the day when we can just get back to calling them soldiers, sailors, marines, etc. Use of terms like warrior and war fighter may juice recruitment, but the military comprises many folks who never fight, yet are just as important as those that do.

As much as I feel the same pains, I had to chuckle at this depiction of it. Some whiskey certainly can’t hurt at this point either.

Not sure whether I should laugh or cry at this. I’m going with “both.”

Unemployment in Pittsburgh was 15% in 1983. I was in high school in McKeesport, at the time the second biggest city in Allegheny County. Unemployment in our town was surely greater than 15%. Every steel mill (except one) was closed by 1987.

After watching the first half, I see why Berghval started in place of Simmons. The physicality difference between the two of them is striking.

When my kids were younger we did a Friday happy hour that alternated among a couple of different streets/houses in our neighborhood. We had to change the name to “Friday Fun Night” after one the kids…maybe 8 at the time…mentioned to a teacher she’d be going to Happy Hour after school.

This is also what Oracle has become considering its new leadership is from Amazon.

Oh yes please. These are eerily similar to my first pair on canvas Nike’s I got for my 12th birthday. Unfortunately those got roughed up pretty quick by someone’s previously eaten lunch near “The Monster” at Kennywood Park.

I can’t wait for the query where he has to use the to_char function to make the date the feds visited readable in a report.

I just watched yesterday and couldn’t agree more.

To me, the problem is accountability and trust. People knowingly lied and defrauded others about the quality of some mortgage backed securities before 2008. No one went to jail and they should have. I love the markets, they’ve helped me prepare for retirement. But fairness is the issue tearing at us

I “boosted” it too, but that’s similar to my vertical leap.

But how do they get those crops to grow on Tatooine?

Well as a fan, I sure as hell hope a new owner doesn’t “splash the cash” in the transfer market just because they want to. You’d hope an owner would do so based on input from the soccer side of the house.

The stadium is the crown jewel. It’s fantastic, was there in May.
