Supported by the FCDO, we brought together over 20 global experts in Responsible AI in the military domain appointed to the GC REAIM.

Workshop attendees discussed draft policy notes which will serve as inputs for the GC REAIM’s final strategic guidance report.

Professor Chloë Kennedy has been awarded funding from the Leverhulme Trust for a new research project titled ‘A History of Hurt Feelings and the Law’.

The project aims to understand which – and whose – emotions have received legal protection and for what reasons.

Dr Rozemarijn Roland Holst has been awarded over £128,000 by the Leverhulme Trust for a 3 year project.

It'll explore the role of international organisations in determining who benefits and who bears the socio-ecological costs of contemporary global commons governance.

Dr Kasey McCall-Smith and Dr Morag J. Grant are raising awareness of how the environmental conditions of places of detention affect prisoners and other people deprived of their liberty, and may even contribute to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or torture.
