I drew my Satanic Leaf Gecko (Uroplatus phantasticus) on a #skull because I find their name so amusing. I mean, why name them that? Their Latin name sounds way more fitting.
Males look like old/dead leaves with notches in their tail, females look more “lively” with shades of brown.

#Drawing of my pet Bumblebee dart #frog (Dendrobates leucomelas). I adored them. In comparison to the bold Azureus darts I had, my shy bumblebees would flee or stop chirping if I walked by.

I found Dark Throat Shooting Stars (Primula pauciflora) growing on the walls of Red Rock Canyon (Waterton’s National Park). A very small flower with a badass name. I don’t think I’ve seen many flowers inside out. 😂

This Red-Billed #Firefinch (Lagonosticta senegala) was spotted by himself. Which I thought was kinda peculiar since they tend to pair up These finches are gregarious birds and even group up with red-cheeked cordon-bleu finches. Both species tend to get parasited by the indigo bird.
