Agree. In an NIL/Rev Share/Portal era you can win at the highest level at Ole Miss. LSU and Florida are still better jobs but there’s inherent risk in leaving a situation you’ve built (where you’re king) and trying to replicate it somewhere that might be totally dysfunctional

This is what I’ve been saying. It’s not about “politics.” It’s about “values.”

I assume you’re making princess bride references but he’ll always be Mr Hall from Clueless to me

I’ve heard the term “culture builder” more than anything which is obviously why it didn’t translate to the NFL.

The foot fetish stuff in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood should be studied.

It’s funny — sometimes I’ll see movies I liked growing up and assumed were well received and am surprised it actually has a bad RT score.

The instant feedback loop of the internet/social media isn’t good for criticism, imo.

Tyler Black. I’d like to see him unleashed.

I think he’s largely right about the trend though. Kids today are much less likely to root for the laundry, which is probably a good thing.

I’m not sure data is needed to know the Big Ten is better than the MAC.
August 23, 2025 at 12:40 AM
Sure but that doesn’t mean you play fewer conference games. It means you eliminate tune ups.

Every SEC team plays 9 conference games, and one each against big ten, big 12 and acc — an arrangement like that is where we’re headed.

Such an absurd take.

I would argue most of what has happened in the last ten years has made the game significantly worse. Is what it is.

Television money rules the sport and most teams in the ACC and Big XII draw no water.
