I’m one of the lucky few who got to see Adrienne Cowan fill in for Chrigel on Eluvetie’s North American tour. Listening to Fabienne and Adrienne on the same stage was absolute magic.

My altar bowl is finally done. It took me about 2 days to carve and another 2 days of shaping and adding textures. Finally another 11 months deciding on my burns. Now we wait 30 days for curing.

Maybe after the chaos of breakfast and opening presents tomorrow I can buckle down and squeeze 5 nights of solitude into an hour - another promise I’m making to myself. Doubtful.

Since November 5th, I haven't: Made an offering, performed ritual, prayed, meditated, spent time in the workshop, helped a stranger, took a ride, walked in the woods, played a PC game, played with my kids. The result speaks for itself: The whole house is sick. 4/8

Hail, Eir, goddess of healthworkers. Contain this medical misery my home and let spread it no more. Heal my family with haste so that we may enjoy our break, and not suffer it.

All our bodies, all of them, saw a work/school-break and said "shut it down."
