invasive species that thrives even in poor conditions, spreads seeds readily, grows right under my landscape shrubs & chokes them out. there's also one under my gas meter 😱

i bought the old cardcaptor anime last night (i do all my impulse shopping at midnight)
i also saw the hardcover manga editions and they're gorgeous but expensive 😭
maybe i'll regret not buying them 10 years later when they're out of print 😔 i've already experienced that remorse for many a series…

- population decline is bad for city, immigrants provided a much-needed boost
- influx of a new demographic does introduce tensions (new systemic challenges)
- asked for help/support from government; instead got horrible witch-hunting
