Well, that’s my kind of atheism. I mean, I think something connects everything together, but I don’t think it’s a sentient ego, so I’m happy to work on it to see if my idea is right.

Reading Eco there’s no hard a fast rules and fascism morphs to take on the style of the society, so US fascism doesn’t look like Italian, German or British fascism.

I think there are other, more dangerous people in that group but if the figurehead went they might implode.

For my own peace of mind I’ve stopped buying American owned products, where possible. The US is bullying a Commonwealth member, maybe the Commonwealth boycotts American goods. I think 30% of the world not buying Heinz might get noticed. Maybe not make much of a difference but you do what you can.
