The question becomes though what's next? I honestly can't think of any GOP candidate who can do what he does, that being able to win over low info voters and being able to control his base, both are needed for a heir and...who could it be?

A 14 point shift nation wide seems like the minimum of what can be expected nation wide in the mid terms, because as a reminder, Trump helped here appearing on TV, which probably explains the election day turnout. This is the best they will be getting

It's a loss however a close one and that was with major national push with help from Trump at the last min.
In the midterm there are plenty more races to care about and this looks to be around a 15 point shift. That is enough to carry alot of seats

Though my brother and mom are not exactly this the later part they certainly believe. When the Ukraine started he was certain the US was only supporting Ukraine because of selfish reasons, testing new weapons or something, and found it really hard to believe otherwise

There is a certain person who sees the world through the lens that the USA is the source of all the worlds current evils, and everything is through that lens, the US never does anything good and if it does it is because of bad reasons

There are ways to read this as part of some selfish play, whether that be to distance herself from Trump and become part of whatever is after Trump or even just leaving to better paying positions within the conservative world? But all of them are risky and don't feel...necessary?

It's possible I think that there are maybe hours upon hours of tapes to explore and they aren't labelled that well and because powerful people are involved they weren't looking that closely at them?

I genuinely think this is done without Schumers approval but
