Alberta bases aren't staffed by Albertan troops, which could lead to divided loyalty, but by personnel from all over Canada.
Since the premier is rightly so concerned about the provinces and Fed minding their own jurisdictions, Alberta takes no military with them since that is Federal.

We were outnumbered by poll workers and the only voters present when we went on Saturday ~18:30. They said there were long lines on Friday.
