One of the biggest surprise of this #NextFest on #Steam was the Cairn Demo. Cairn is for climbing what Steep was to skiing: pure simulation bliss. Sure, probably there will be achievements and stuff, but I will gladly play it just for the pleasure of climbing a mountain. Loved it! #videogames #Cairn

Weathering with You is the movie Makoto Shinkai did after Your Name. Fair warning: it's not at the same level. Said so, it's a good movie if you like slightly supernatural teen love stories. Honorable mention for the backgrounds: they are so real, it's like being there.

Brindlewood Bay it's a TTRPG inspired by "Murder, she wrote" and "Lovecraftian horrors". You play a bunch of old ladies solving misteries and meddling with police cases. The game structure does not require for the GM to write the solution af a mistery before play and that's genius. I love it.

Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is simply put the best anime I've ever seen. Gorgeous animations, a moving story and compelling characters. If you want to watch just one anime, this is it. #recommended #amine

Song of horror is, simply put, one of the few games who succeded in instilling me some fear. He did it making me control more than one character and leaving them dead when they died. Do you make all your characters die? Tough luck, start again. One of the best horror videogames out there.

I wrote a post saying that Animal Well was my game of the year. I just dicovered I'm not the only one thinking this way. Animal Well it's an open world metroidvania, fully packed with things to discover and understand, well worth it's price. #videogames #recommended

I'm a vintage gamer, so I loved Formule Dé. Heat: Pedal to the Metal is that but 3 times better. A friend made me try it: I bought it. I made friends try it: we will run a championship. No one of us is interested in car races in the slightest. The magic a good game can pull.

Mothership it's an OSR TTRPG where you are a ragtag crew of space-something (pirates, merchants, smugglers, mercenaries) who try to complete odd jobs. It's an horror RPG and the stacks are not in favour of the players. Easy, quick and atmospheric, gets the job done well.

Mothership it's an OSR TTRPG where you are a ragtag crew of space-something (pirates, merchants, smugglers, mercenaries) who try to complete odd jobs. It's an horror RPG and the stacks are not in favour of the players. Easy, quick and atmospheric, gets the job done well.
Hierarachy (Netflix) is a korean TV series that in 7 episodes manage to condense a telenovelas and some interesting themes like teen pregnancy, bullying, overachieving parents, rick kids responsabilities and more. A grieving almost father was the cherry on top of a solid experience. Recommended.

Res Arcana is a #boardgame about mages trying to... get points I suppose. It's a quick and easy engine building game with an interesting flow of the game. It's spring-like: the engine comes togeter in one big swoop. Nice repleyability too.
