I like playing pinball, electric cars, coding (in .net) and running. And other stuff, but those are the big four. But I have ADHD, so those things could change at any time. He/him.
I still miss my Lumia 920 and 950. Best camera and microphones in a smartphone ever.

For me, uploading the results takes about five minutes. I usually take care of it the same day, and it’s approved the next day. But my tournaments are relatively simple and small, with around 20-25 people.

Please tell me this is a public location I can visit. I never got to play a full-size Sega Rally machine. Plus they have San Francisco Rush The Rock. 😃

That would require some sort of proprietary verification process run by Bluesky (the company), which I think it's pretty safe to say we don't want. So a celeb would have to use their own domain if they want to be verified in a federated way.
November 28, 2024 at 12:21 AM
That’s what the SSL certificate is for. Legitimate celebrity domains can get an SSL certificate from a company like Verisign or Sectigo, which actually verifies their identity.

SSL certificates from Let’s Encrypt would be ignored because they don’t verify identity, just domain ownership.

We already have a federated mechanism for verifying domain name ownership: SSL/TLS certificates. The Bluesky client can easily check to see if a domain has an SSL certificate (preferably not issued by Let’s Encrypt) and use that as the basis for a padlock mark or something.
