I have planned out the overall "story" very vaguely, but getting out a overall storyline would be a great start. Maybe a GDD too to uphold some principles.

Two games that are huge inspirations for this project includes Our Life by GB Patch and The Dark Room by Doublespeak

I was planning on dedicating a post to this, but the best way to put it is a choose your own adventure/turn based game. I've loved choose your own adventures games for as long as I can remember, and I know that out of all the games I CAN create, it's not the most complex one.

The goal is to have something to show for myself by January. Maybe not a complete game, as who can make a game with no experience, but something.
