I like Kinich a normal amount.
39. The Aquarium does not dance

A pretty fun RPG Maker horror game, that teaches you a bit about different sea creatures on the side. I had problems with some of the puzzles, due to confusing instructions, but otherwise it was very enjoyable. They even got some well known seiyuu on board!

38. Illusion of Gaia/Time

One of my childhood games, I remember fondly. It has been forever since I last played it, but apart from some details I still remembered everything about the journey. Honestly, me not paying much attention to its flaws is purely out of nostalgia reasons.

Being able to turn this shit off is such a relief. I've already had enough with all the distracting animations like icon frame, banner and such, and it took me forever to discover that you have to turn on reduce motion to make it stop. Now they let you change the font type and style of user names...

37. Kemono Teatime

It has been a good while since I felt so empty after finishing a game. What I thought would be a cozy tea making time, ended up being so much more. They were hiding a truly inspiring and sad story underneath the surface, with a deep message. I loved everything about it.

36. Death Mark Chapter 7

A welcoming addition to the game, with completely new content. It played and felt like good old Death Mark, but with more focus on the narrative and dialogue than exploring. Having a different protagonist was interesting, too. Sucks that the DLC is stuck on Switch.

35. Whisper of the House

A very cozy decorating, cleaning and organizing game, with a spooky spin to it. It was fun to pick up now and then and play for a while. There are a lot of weird (supernatural) things to discover along the way, which I quite enjoyed. Most importantly, you can pet cats!

34. Fatal Frame IV (Gab LP)

I watched the remaster and was honestly blown away by the quality upgrade. The game looks stunning, it was such a joy to witness the story theme unfold. It's quite complex. Not to forget how smooth the gameplay feels, and the additions. Gab was so into doll hunting haha.

33. Fatal Frame III (Gab LP)

This was the best experience I had with the series so far, almost perfect in how depressing and spooky it is. I especially liked that the supernatural started bleeding into reality over time, and that you switch between different characters. Man, that ending.......

32. Bye Sweet Carole (Gab LP)

What an emotional and sad game. The storytelling and atmosphere are on point for a dark fairytale adventure like this. It's complerely hand-drawn, with classic animated movies in mind, and catches those vibes perfectly. The gameplay needs some fixing, though.

Gnosia got me. Yuri is too cute 💦

Too bad they were designed for the anime, and the game apparently uses a customizable player character, who is basically 'you'. Well, once I finally get around to play it, I can always imagine the player as Yuri.

31. 1000xRESIST (Watched a friend play)

What a weird and confusing presentation for an intriguing story concept. I think the character writing and music are the strongest points, but the gameplay parts felt rough and time wasting at times, especially navigating the hub. I liked Secretary the most!

30. Fatal Frame II (Gab Let's Play)

Not sure how to feel about this. Game looks great and succeeded in being pretty scary, but Gab sure struggled with the Wii controls. I wonder if the Wii quality is to blame, but my ears didn't agree with some of the sounds. It influenced my enjoyment negatively.

29. Fatal Frame (Gab Let's Play)

I liked that the horror goes more into an atmospheric direction, focusing on the environment sounds, spooky ghost encounters you can take pictures of, and finding hints across the game, like tapes and books. Using a camera for confrontations is pretty cool, too.

Meanwhile I changed my mind about Orphie and tried pulling for her after finally finishing the newest main story. And...got her! Not that I've anything ready for her, because she originally wasn't on my list, so I'll focus on getting her material and such in the next days.

28. Silent Hill f (Gab Let’s Play)

I’m so into this after watching the first playthrough of the game. I hope Gab plays through New Game+ soon! This game has so many details and symbolism, at times presented to a grotesque degree. If there’s one thing I didn’t like much, it’s the amount of combat…

27. Lorelei and the Laser Eyes (Friend streamed it)

Very confusing, but also a genius level game. Goes through quite some different styles and elements with lots of connected puzzle solving. It was fun to solve them together!

Fascinating experience. You have to be big brained to understand it all

Way too many of my favorite male characters fall into the ENTP type. I see a pattern here ww.

I may or may not have made some unwise decision by preordering Nagumo figures. Testing out a store I haven't ordered from before, because my usual one didn't have these listed anymore.

FINALLY!! Can't say my pulls went great, because I went through everything I had saved, lost 50/50 to a certain cat, and then basically cleared out all remaining commissions I still had in my list. That took a while, but at least it made Seed decide to come home. Yeah, I ended up liking her 💦

Opening the substream section made me go 'What the-!?' just now. What's with that creepy glitching out eye?? Was this added together with the latest main story, or did I really miss this before? I haven't opened the timeline for a while to be honest.

The timeline is making its way towards this... 💦

I didn't expect to come across a very simple sketchbook option in Whispers of the House, where they encourage you to finish drawing a T-rex. I added a little one to it! ✨

Yup, the guy called me for house organizing, and I go and scribble in one of his sketchbooks instead ww.

Aww, this thank you message is so cute! But I'm sad I already reached the end of the episodes...
