I was so fucking angry after the election. In 2016 I was shocked and devastated because I didn't think it could happen. Last year I knew it could happen, and when it did, I was furious at the sheer self-absorbed malignant stupidity of the voters who had inflicted this on all of us.

Came across this video on YouTube and it led me here. I feel much the same. I have very little sympathy for MAGA voters, but as a blue dot in a very red state (Utah), I don't like being lumped in with them, or talk of nonsense solutions like secession.

Trump is "exciting" (i.e., he generates ratings and clicks). Whereas Biden was "boring" -- I remember reading in 2021 that media ratings, clicks, etc. had dropped dramatically since Biden took office. So the media wanted Trump back. It's all business to them.
