I had a spicy bread one time and was like, “Wow this ginger bread is incredible, I love spicy bread, I have to make this again.” then I made several batches of ginger bread with increasingly obscene amounts of ginger powder trying to get the kick. then I had pumpkin bread one time and was like “oh.”

There's an org here that has home cooks make meals for specific neighbors, which seems much different than cooks bringing food to food pantries.

Unclear if they were grateful or not. Much of the candy was donated by the parents of unsuspecting children to get it out of their house!
