Final Fantasy 16 has been so good so far. It feels really good to be enjoying a main line Final Fantasy game again after how much I hated 13 and 15 (I also love 14 but it's an mmo and I don't count it as main line)

Finished up @expedition33.bsky.social last night. Seriously the closest to a perfect game I have played in awhile. 10/10. It's going to take a hell of a game to pass this as my Game of the Year

I'm pretty sure that I'm coming up on the end of the second act of Expedition 33 and this game is every bit as good as the hype. This is a special game that has something for most everyone. I don't know if anything has a chance of passing it for game of the year for me

Doom the Dark Ages was a really solid game. Solid mechanics and a good story. The things they added for this one were a lot of fun. I played it on Gamepass but it's worth buying

I finally finished BG3 for the first time last weekend. I love long games. Persona 5 and The Witcher 3 are two of my all time favorites. I really enjoyed BG3 as a whole, but that third act was rough to push through. It felt almost too dense or that the pacing was off. I dunno

The hype around Expedition 33 is real. Beautiful world design, great writing, one of the best combat systems in awhile, great music and sound design. This game does so many things great. It really may be the game of the year
