A reminder to anyone in the UK with a fully electric car. VED (car tax) goes up on 1 April, however you can renew your tax for 12 months at the current cost (zero) until then even if it isn't due yet. Then it won't be due until 1 March next year, giving you some more free months.

Is is time for the Europe+UK to do a minerals deal with Ukraine in return for increasing the supply of arms to them? Could we increase arms manufacture enough to replace the US arms that will no longer be supplied?

I had high hopes of the new Labour UK govt but sadly they were misplaced. The previous govt was corrupt. This one seems to be incompetent. Some big mistakes they have made so far:
- Lumping almost all of the tax raising on employers NI. This was guaranteed to stunt growth and discourage investment.
