Best wishes to all those athletes who ended their high school football careers Friday night. This is the old football field at Swain County where I played in the only game of my brief career. My memories of it are fleeting but I will forever cherish them. Hope you cherish yours.

Heaven gained a saint today. I posted this picture of my mom and dad just hours before he joined her in heaven. Dad was 95. He will be cremated at his request and we will delay any service until the weather is cooler. Thanks to all who have already expressed well wishes.
