I am 66. Had no plan to retire. I love my job. I’m good at what I do and spent countless hours of personal time teaching myself Excel and studying reports to increase accuracy and efficiency by merging info. My job is so much more than a paycheck and I am not an exception to the rule!!

I service the field remotely. Relationships are built across the country. Getting goodbye emails from these people is heartbreaking. These are good, hardworking, honest employees! I don't know if I will have the heart to send an email when my turn comes.

Same here! I’m a federal employee and don't know how long I’ll have a job. Every day just brings more chaos. I had no plans on retiring. I love working, learning new things, and feeling pride in serving. It's all crumbling and I’m too old and low on funds to restart in a new country.
