Are we sure this is authentic…? With his recent case loss, it’s plausible that trolls fabricated this screenshot to dogpile Jobst. This, and his “racist past”, coming out now seems too coincidental.
I’m open to being wrong about him, though it would be very disappointing to me…

I guess it depends on who’s asking. If it’s a stranger/acquaintance, then it’s more of a social ritual. If it’s a close friend or family member, I figure they would care enough to listen to how you’re actually feeling

It’s strange that we default to saying “yes, I’m fine” no matter how trivial or serious the situation is. Ask “how are you” and everyone says “good” no matter how they’re actually feeling.
