EXACTLY! I never know what Gerard is talking about in his narratives. for the longest time I thought it was just me being autistic, but he's just a bad writer. Great with concepts and character designs, but it's always style over substance

not to mention it's shallow as hell anyways. I'd appreciate it if he co wrote with a historian who actually knows what they're talking about

see I'm just really confused, which is a problem I commonly find myself when it comes to gerard's writing. the lltbp storyline seems to consist of elements from both the soviet union and ww2 (mostly soviet), it doesn't make sense. pick one and stick with it!
