Unions want their employers to be profitable. They just want to be treated fairly and benefit from hard work. When resources that could be reinvested get sucked away to anonymous Wall Street vampires, it breaks the system. Adam Smith, the father of capitalism, says: Reinvest capital. Don’t hoard it.

We can’t continue to have the loudest voices only tell us half stories that insure their own power by keeping us divided. We have many failures and successes that weave all of our citizens together.

Black History month is alive and well and needs to be taught over and over again. I would also like to see more success stories, tales of unity and heroics so we have aspirational narratives about what we need to collectively aim for.

I blame DEI too - the Deregulation of Every Institution.
