Hi, I spent 35 years numb and angry until burnout sparked my self-discovery. I learned we live in fear, viewing it as weakness. True healing needs vulnerability this is why I’m developing a program to turn fear into progress. See you around!
When stakes are high, have a glass of water!

stress

You want to be a high performer.

Good, then you need to get to know yourself. And what better way, if not by spending time with yourself.

When was the last time you sat just for the sake of sitting?

Doing nothing,
Thinking of nothing,
Going nowhere?

Just you and your thoughts.

Wu wei.

We are afraid and brave at the same time.

Sometimes all we need is a reminder.

We are enough the way we are.

the root of your fears is like the root of the rainbow.

it is there, but nowhere to be found.

“What if I fail?” ...is the thought that comes to my mind. As I think of it, fear creeps in and paralysis is taking over the control. Scenarios loop through my head at dizzying speed and a decision is about to be made…

PS.I've wrote a short article about it here:

No matter how confident someone looks like, they are nervous too, they are afraid too.

The reason for which you don’t see that is because you are too.

Does this sound familiar?

The person in front of you will focus on their own challenges, trying to mask their own nervousness and fears.

Most of the time they will not notice your shaking hands, tremble in your voice, dry mouth or unsettlement. They feel as exposed and vulnerable as you do.

So, go ahead, relax a bit.

We are so afraid of failing, of making a fool of ourselves, that we direct so much energy to control something out of our control. Our emotions!
December 18, 2024 at 5:01 AM
the only person knowing your are nervous is you!

and a very simple tool that helps me:

Are you ready...

- to be comfortable with conflict?
- understand and deal with fear?
- for high level of mental depletion?

We can blame the processes as much as we want, but in the end, it is we humans who create trouble.

they need to be shown respect and be treated as adults.
they need to be shown that they can achieve what they have to on their own.

I'd argue that every team coach and every organizational coach out there needs to get its hands dirty in the realm of psychology.

We, as coaches, need to learn more about the human nature and fear.

it’s fear that’s blocking us.
it’s fear that’s creating trouble.

the more we know about our fear, the more we can use it.

no matter the present struggles or future uncertainties, your past—especially those meaningful, positive, or character-building experiences—are a source of inner strength you can draw from.

So here we are: simultaneously hooked and checked out.

We compulsively check social media while engaging with it less deeply. We consume more content than ever but digest less of it.

when change happens we may feel that we just want a moment or two of peace, but this is only a mask of our fear for change.

change will happen no matter what, whether we are ready or not, it won’t wait for us.

whether we want to admit it or not, the trauma of our childhood and life experiences, surfaces in our professional lives.

this happens through fears and core beliefs which translate in automatic reactions. most of the time irrational.

being able to identify your fears will set you free.

agile is not just a way of working it's life itself. my proof?

My son and I in vacation.

him: we eat breakfast, go to the room, put sunscreen, change, go to the beach. Good plan?

...5 mins later

I don't want sunscreen, don't want to change, don't want to go to the beach...

Plans are worthless.
