I love this illogic at work.
All Republicans plus an independent plus a Democrat voted for cr.
Guess what, it didn't have the votes.
Need 7 more Democrats last I heard.
Welcome to the madhoise!

Maybe mention the fact that Democrats demanded sending citizens benefits to illegals and other changes vs voting in a straight up simple continuing resolution.

So then why did Fauci say 'yes, placebo controlled clinicial trials exist' and after 1y of lawsuit 'oh wait, they don't' ... I'm sure they did some trials, will be interesting to see what actually was done.
Based on what I'm understanding, should be interesting.

The citation is the X post that I referenced above that the person didn't want to go visit. So I copied the text of the post here. The video won't fit on bluesky so if you want you can consider the post above with the X link the citation.

The quotes are words spoken on the video.

So, we have 'safety monitoring' and no placebo controlled trials which were promised to exist but didn't and I'm supposed to apologize?

Did you watch the video before and after and during?
He is on the spectrum and was doing a very emotional display of 'love you guys' .. even said so.
Such smear tactics can really darken a very positive moment.

I'm not a medical person, but I'd prefer personally the saline placebo to let it stand on its own and clearly see any side effects.

"If someone you don't like can say something you don't like, then there's a good chance you have freedom of speech."
February 15, 2025 at 9:36 AM
To not permit questioning things, or to not ask 'show me the data' or to not ask 'let me try to run the experiment myself' ... means we are not open to free speech.

As a wise man once said, the definition of freedom of speech is as follows:
February 15, 2025 at 9:36 AM
Point being, misinformation and disinformation is an opinion that can sway like the wind depending on who's in power. Speaking truth to power is only possible with free speech.
Ideally with respectful debate, we can all suggest our ideas and ideally the most scientific based logical ones win.
February 15, 2025 at 9:36 AM
The most powerful reason, however, to permit freedom of speech is the fact that if your elected candidate is permitted to tell me I'm not permitted to say anything about a particular topic ... what's to say the tables won't turn the other way and you can't defend yourself against me?
February 15, 2025 at 9:36 AM
So freedom of speech is clearly the permission of ideas, even reportedly wrong ones, to be shared partly because its only human to make a mistake. I certainly would not like to dismiss the inventor of a transporter because he figured out something nobody believes until he builds it.
February 15, 2025 at 9:36 AM
information to be shared is the fact that people used to think the world was flat and people used to think the world was the center of the universe.

Ultimately the science proved otherwise.

We may know things very firmly to be a fact today, and tomorrow its clearly demonstrated not to be.
February 15, 2025 at 9:36 AM
False information can be tied to the source if one is permitted to say it.
I can easily see who leads with a lie (remember when news stories claimed Elon was donating 45M per month to Trump?) with a simple search.

Those are party tricks though.

The true power of permitting reportedly false

"So we got all of these new vaccines, 72 shots, 16 vaccines... And that year, 1989, we saw an explosion in chronic disease in American children... ADHD, sleep disorders, language delays, ASD, autism, Tourette's syndrome, ticks, narcolepsy."
February 15, 2025 at 9:25 AM
"What better product could you have? And so there was a gold rush to add all these new vaccines to the schedule... because if you get onto that schedule, it's a billion dollars a year for your company."
February 15, 2025 at 9:25 AM
"There's no downstream liability, there's no front-end safety testing... and there's no marketing and advertising costs, because the federal government is ordering 78 million school kids to take that vaccine every year."
February 15, 2025 at 9:25 AM
Ok, the transcript is thus:

Having been called a liar by Anthony Fauci for stating that not one of the 72 vaccines mandated for children has ever been safety tested*, RFK Jr. sued Fauci.

After a year of legal delays, Fauci's lawyers finally admitted that RFK Jr. was correct.

get a chance to hear the people themselves vs being told what to think by mainstream media.

Whether you agree or disagree with me is fine by me.

That you made it this far is amazing.

Feel free to discuss any of the above ;-)

underling agencies can't be construed as bad. How?

There are 1000 simple examples I can list.

But unless you've listened to the long form podcasts as I have (not all in one sitting, podcasts are like books, a byte at a time during dishes and mundane chores and exercise is my tact) you don't

- any long term plans take a few short term pains to get underway

Now we only need to debate how long it will be that things stay the same and/or go up "temporarily" and/or start to go down and whether or not "temporary" is too long.

Ideally the idea of releasing data we've not seen from HHS and

egg prices on January 21st and see they don't, "liar!".
I suspect any reasonable person will realize that changes in policy are going to take a few moments to take hold.
Consider:
- chickens were culled right before the 20th of January
- drilling oil and gas doesn't start in 1 day

will permit each to at least understand how and why the other views the data without resorting to a non productive emotional verbal punching match.

Two theories can be true at the same time.

My other theory is shallow vs deep thinking.

If we hear "prices will come down" and we check on
