The recruit will have the unique opportunity to take part in designing and delivering a programme first of its kind in the University and in Finland. The recruit will be responsible for setting up computer science-related courses and content and coordinating activities with other faculties.

The Liberal Arts and Sciences programme, to be launched in fall 2026, joins together the Faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, Science, Agriculture and Forestry, and Biological and Environmental Sciences into a broadly interdisciplinary international bachelor’s.
