Didn't get much time to watch stuff this week between filming and other obligations, but managed to start making my way through Safety Last! and the supplements on the Criterion disc. One False Move and Roaring Twenties from last weekend.

Quite possibly the coolest movie ever. The way Mann directs this film is so stylish, topped with an incredible soundtrack and great performances from Kilmer, De Niro and Pacino. Perfectly paced despite it's lengthy runtime. Definitely a must watch for anyone who likes crime movies.

Probably a lot of nostalgia speaking here because my mum got me into them around when Rocky Balboa was showing on TV about a year after release, but it's hard to state just how much of an impact this movie (and the franchise as a whole) had on my life. Just a perfect film all around.

An impulse watch due to having Odeon Limitless but I absolutely adore it now. Somehow managing to be both wholesome and haunting, I really love how it tackles the topic of depression with such subtlety. Definitely a film I'll rewatch and cherish on a yearly basis.
