Size of the entire universe man. Usually kind to smaller man.
These are the same "vote with your wallet" crowd, who think that the free market should let the best product rise to the top.

But apparently it's impossible to consider that X is just a shitty product now.

There is a non-zero chance at his confirmation hearing a US Senator asks him about that time he fucked your mom.

Both new and old media are culprits of sanitizing Trump while being hyper-critical of Dems.

We saw it at the VP debate too; they asked Walz about a time when he lied about being in China for a month, essentially equating it in severity to Vance's denial of the 2020 election results.

I thought similarly regarding criminal immunity for the president, but here we are.

They made similar claims in 2016 too. It's. Every. Single. Election.

Gotta distract from the extreme gerrymandering and myriad actual methods of real voter suppression.

He's wrong from multiple fronts. The Jones defamation case didn't make new precedent; it was entered in default because he never responded to discovery. It also would not be binding precedent coming from the trial-court level. Not to mention the merits of the analogy itself.

Well done Steve. Your comment around 1:24:00 is my feeling as well; what a disappointing performance from Judge Jones and the Federalist Society.

Ironically, their refusal to substantively address your arg demonstrates that they are the partisans they fear so much.

In law school, we were learning negligence, and one element is "but-for causation."

I raised my hand and asked, "what's a but-for? (For pooping, duh!)"

No one laughed.

In that moment, I realized I would be surrounded by boring people for the rest of my professional life.

The damage that these nominated people could do is overshadowed by Trump in the Oval. If Tulsi wasn't it, Trump would pick another Russian stooge. It would even be easier if they were less known.

The effect of these divisive nominations is largely just a hit to Senate Republicans in the midterms.
