The Heated Rivalry gay hockey players romance series is so sexy it makes ME blush (and I watch porn!) With that said, I have read all of Rachel Reid's Game Changer books (Heated Rivalry is #2) and I'll caution you not to expect a happily ever after (yet) in the season finale next week.

Watching Sisu tonight and keeping warm. Crikey this is gory and graphic. But it's entertaining.

Just finished reading Susanna Clarke's phenomenally fantastic novel Piranesi, and will be automatically recommending this for a long time to anybody who wants to read a really really really really really good book.

The new Netflix series Boots was surprisingly good. Hope there's a second season!

When Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009 (something MagaTrumpy never will).

Who else read Flowers for Algernon in high school? I ask because I just reread it (almost 40+ years later) and oddly it didn't match with my memories except that ending.

The third term we all really want to see.

This was my 100th read for 2025.... and I DNF'ed it at 51%. Supposedly a very popular book/series and I found this DUNE & GLADIATOR rip off unbearable to continue.

To day we celebrate an amazing human being who worked to better us. Thank you, President Obama.

The first phone I remember.

This was a surprisingly amusing to read, despite dragging in the middle.
Aliens wipe out most of Earth & survivors are forced onto a sadistic intergalactic game show. Carl and his ex-girlfriend’s cat Princess Donut try to survive the Dungeon Crawl, fighting monsters, aliens, AI and other survivors.

Your AfterLife is in the Library, endless levels of bookshelves filled with every possible book that could be written, an infinite number. You have to find the book of your life somewhere in there.
Enjoy A Short Stay In Hell.
I read this horrifying novella last week, & can't stop thinking about it.

I hope this isn't the end, but I trust that orange clown even less than I trust gas station sushi, a priest with a choir boy, Boeing quality control, an Oceansgate submarine, a fart after eating Taco Bell...

Still too soon?

Same thing could be said about the last Star Wars trilogy.

Gearing up to ask variations of this for the next four years.

Tonight I'm watching: Batman (1989). Haven't seen this since the 90s, I'd forgotten Jack Nicholson was phenomenal in this. However FYI, Michael Keaton is Forever Batman.

I'm a little late obviously but after a good winter night’s nap I'll try to get into the Christmas spirits, with a big cuppa wine, beer, or tea. (Green, today, natch, I have to work tomorrow.)

Should we normalize wanting the Meteor 2025™ to strike just to get off this mortal plane of existence?

Tonight's viewing is a love it or hate it film: Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey. If the book were to be readapted or film to be remade today, I wonder how different the new version would turn out.
