I know. It’s a slow process but it is happening. We need to be encouraging and not fighting amongst ourselves. Anybody that is anti authoritarian, anti oligarchs, is one of us. Big tent. Diversity, we have to accept the mess that goes with that. Be inclusive no matter what.

This country has never been perfect. We have a lot to atone for. It is continually evolving. The experiment is at a key juncture.
We the people will collectively decide what we’re going to do about it. Interesting times. Stay strong. Stay brave. Stay kind.

You're assuming we're not engaged, and we aren't trying to cause those changes. It's been years of the same thing, the base gets used & played. You're right about "we make the parties and we select the politicians". These awful sellouts just made more ppl realize it. Not a victim+ not giving up.

Spend your energy taking care of people in need of help and letting everybody know that Republicans don’t have a plan for healthcare. They are doing this, it’s not the democrats fault. Let’s see what happens next.

The shutdown wasn’t going to get us ACA extensions anyway. The Republicans didn’t need to do that to end the shutdown. They had other options.
Dems need to get over themselves and keep moving forward.

3. We need to move back as soon as we can to fighting Trump, united and forceful, as the voters who gave us that big win Tuesday expect. Getting back to that fight is how we keep building momentum.

The January 30 CR date gives appropriators time to do that, and the three little bills in the CR get that started.

2. We need to move big appropriations bills that restore spending with strong guardrails to curtail Trump/Vought mischief. Boring but very real.

That December vote is a huge moment we can turn into a victory. People are watching. Good bill, we win; they cheat, they will lose. If we fight united.

Do I trust them? No. That’s why I voted no. But they are in a terrible position, and we can use the next few weeks to turn the pressure up even further.

1. We need to fight hard for a good ACA extension early in December and hold Republicans fiercely accountable if they betray everyone.

No one’s feelings are wrong. That’s not my point. We’re in a real battle, against a corrupt and malevolent foe, with huge stakes. We must win.

The sooner we get past internal recriminations and back to fighting united, the better off we all are — the likelier our victory next November.

But there are real dangers out there that must be fought; and energy spent fighting each other is energy lost to that bigger fight.

There is no beginning. There is no end. There is only now.
We are always creating our personal experiences and collective experiences. Now.
