Shakes is clearly the #1. It probably shouldnt have been in doubt for weeks now. But, when the message from Sanchez is "its about giving him a body of work" its hard to think otherwise short-term. With how long this stint is, I think its clear

Midweek matches are always tough. Coupled with not as much notice as you'd like, but the ticket sales ended up decent, especially for a crap weather night

This is why you have to come here. Have to experience it for yourself. Telling you just ruins the surprise

And how dare anyone other than us take umbridge with John

I think we shined them up a bit in this one. They've done better since their horrendous start, but outside of Andy, they haven't been great in the final third. They have to find another option to keep it up

I *really* enjoyed this one. I'm sure you will too

Meta has a 60 day wait period on changing anything. We at least have parts of the Meta stuff correct, just not the names

I'll sit down tonight and double check stuff

There's some behind the scenes reasons that the Meta info hasn't been updated. Soon, though.

If travel was the issue.... we're in trouble.

I can appreciate the good part of the broadcast. Quality production is a sticking point for me

I don't know if I've mentioned since you started watching, but I went to college in Statesboro. Beautiful place, and I was really excited to see football catch on

That being said, it's very much still a small town and needs to draw from surrounding areas (Savannah) to be sustainable in attendance

We've never publicly said what our costs are. They were far higher when we ran the website too (which may make a return, eventually). The site just wasn't cost effective or efficient with just Jaocb and I doing content.

I would be curious what it costs over there?

Top 10 is almost half the league. Half the league isn’t going to be great teams. And it’s hard to be flashy and exciting when Wilmer decides to put all 11 players inside our 18 yard box and just send one or 2 out on the counter.
March 26, 2025 at 5:28 PM
Then we face 2 teams that chose to sit in a low block and try to counter and we come away with 4 goals and 2 wins one against a rival and one on the road against what was a top 4 seed last season. There aren’t 10 other teams that have better results.
March 26, 2025 at 5:05 PM
It does but you have to base your initial rankings off something. And I think when you factor in everything we have been a top 10 team if you just look at this season. We were clearly the better team in the first half of the Sac match and still controlled a lot of the second half down a man
March 26, 2025 at 5:05 PM
Makes sense. It was a sad effort.
March 26, 2025 at 4:59 PM
That’s backwards to me. We haven’t done anything to not be in the top 10. We win the west last season, bring in a ton of talent and arguably upgrade at all the positions that we lost, bring in a well thought of coach to replace Quill and should easily have started inside the top 10
March 26, 2025 at 4:58 PM
I agree. But we did find a way to win and the tactics deployed by L Paso were surprising to even Sanchez and I do think we looked better after some half time adjustments.

I understand the exercise. And I can’t quibble to much but to see a team like Detroit move up after a “fine” performance which ended in a draw against a team that is/was struggling but we drop because we struggled to create against 2 parked buses in front of goal is questionable to me.
