UX fostered community. Clicking on a comment allowed you to read popular responses. Video responses allowed us to learn about each other. We bridged across generations, cultures, professional and personal identities with respect.

I believe they are allowing creators to download their content, find followers on other systems, among other activities to clean up.

Many are, but it is not the same. I was mostly a lurker that wrote sassy comments under a hidden name. That was a large part of the community that is hard to find.
