Feeling down? You may already be a charge target.
basically i've spent the past decade pissed off that i can't make a house with a blue roof and i realized recently how much more detailed you can make things by using walls and now i'm even more pissed off because they come in even less colours than stairs and slabs do

because making ``canonically'' sloped things out of stepped bricks was no longer what was done, but in order to make more complicated shapes, they would have needed numerous different grades all with inside and outside corners and they just didn't have that. so more options introduced more limits

i recently spent a few hours mindlessly scrolling through old lego sets on brickset and i noticed something similar- in really early sets they approximate a wide variety of rooves out of whole bricks, but once slopes are introduced, they get simpler

but there are limited materials that can be crafted into stairs. there are, i don't know, 5 or 10 different blue blocks in the game, but 0 of those materials can be crafted into stairs. if you want to make things out of ``walls'', well, the things you want to make had better be black, grey, or beige

sorry, i dont have any art i drew to hide at the bottom of tonight's inane bleet thread. my creative energy today has been going into minecraft buildings, which is why i have been thinking about art nouveau and art deco

and i can imagine if i was looking in at 21st century society from the outside that i might describe anime as like "an artistic movement mostly in animation, comics, illustration, and video games that originated in japan in the 20th century and gained global prelavence in the early 21st century"

like the most normal usage of the word is just cartoons from japan but there are also people around the world making art in every medium that's "anime inspired" and it's pretty common for people to just say "anime girl" when they're talking about art an american drew, or a fighting game character

lego has pivoted to adults by being star wars collectors items, colouring books have pivoted to adults by being relaxing meditations or whatever, i wonder if anyone has tried to do something similar with wooden blocks. if i was a rich millenial i would absolutely fall for adult brio

miku designs are so varied you could probably do this for 1000 years and still be within tolerance

weird men like me ARE, however, the target audience of gender bender wish fullfillment animes. and the people who make them should STOP putting things i personally dont like in them!!!!!
