I couldn't find an angle showing the blue head streaks but liked the crest and feather banding in this one.
A Steller’s Jay (blue jay variant with a black head and pronounced crest) sitting on a fencepost in the sunlight. The banding across the deep blue deaths on its lower wings and tail are visible. The background is a dock, some water, and suburban houses. Taken in the Sierra.
