october books! i really went hard on horror books this month and it was... a real mixed bag in terms of what worked for me. still looking for a book that actually scares me. anyway with october done, i've hit 100 books for the year.

you will definitely get that with the tainted cup! but if you DO enjoy it enough, there is more.

it has a sequel, with a trilogy planned, but it stands perfectly well alone and everything wraps up very neatly if you have no interest in a series! I know you said you want standalones
