Whenever I see the word "assimilate" especially in any way that Stephen Miller would use it, it reminds me of the Borg from STNG. In general, if someone says something almost quoted directly from the Borg, it's most likely to be a horrifically bad approach.

I don't mind it at all and quite enjoy the fact my neighbors are from different regions, speak different languages. It's what the first amendment is about - freedom of speech to talk in any language you want and even say "the shit stirring racist VP can eat a bag of dicks" if you want.
