I was not mad about the concept. It wanted to be Midsommar but with a twist. What I am mad about is that they thought the main actor looked like he was in high school. It is mid as a movie.

No. Too artsy. Weak ass vampire. More like blood drinkers. Trying to be atmosphere. And they never explain the aging thing.

Ok here me out…..not that bad. I find the effects cheap but it gave me a lot of them creepy feels I love. Also the guy is mute so very little talking in the movie. Not amazing but I liked it.

Meh. I liked parts of it. I did not like other parts. I hated one particular death in the movie.

Night 17: Artsy horror movies rarely deliver. This one does not either. It is a descent movie but lacks enough horror elements or even creepiness to make it good. Worth a watch.

Night 16: went a different direction. This is 5 episodes. 2 different stories. The first story is meh. The second one gave me those creepy feels that make the horror season good. Just do episode 4 and 5.

Night 14: I did not consider this a horror movie. It has horror elements. But to me it was more of a coming of age story. I liked it, but not a horror to me.

Night 13: set in Asia. Based on the Buddhist angle assuming it is Thailand. It is watchable. A couple small plot twists. Don’t expect good acting.

Night 12: Italian horror film from the 60’s. More stylish than scary. But the genre of Giallo. If is considered essential if you like that brand of horror.

Night 11 of 30 nights of horror. James Wan produced. It is mid. Not terrible, but not great. Watchable which says a lot in the horror genre.

Tonight horror selection. Watchable. It was Groundhog’s Day meets Hellraiser. They could have leaned a bit more into the Hellraiser part.

30 Days of Horror have begun. This was my first one of the season. Better than expected. Good little ghost story with a bit of a twist towards the end. I mean Rebecca Hall…always good.
