just finished another full playthrough of Telltale's The Walking Dead, currently making a video essay about race, gender + childhood in it bc i feel so insane about it. first + final seasons are my favourites, got me through some rly fucking tough shit this year. Lee, Clem + AJ mean everything to me

having been raised on Morrowind and Oblivion, Skyrim is the only game i have ever queued up to buy a physical copy of on its release day. it's silly, fun, campy and nostalgic to me, i've spent so many hours with it, it'll always have a special place in my heart

i don't usually vibe with games that don't have an easy mode because i'm very busy and very tired all the time, but BG3 is just so good that i will get sucked into hours and hours once i start. it's just *so* a bit of what i love about games, i can't help it. ... still haven't beat it yet tho lol

another game that doesn't get enough love, Tell Me Why is still some of the best trans representation i've seen in games, a moving story of family trauma, and such interesting use of narrative techniques and game mechanics to explore the idea of the fallibility of memory

Dragon Age 2 was the first DA game i played and i was immediately enthralled by the politics of Thedas - some of the most interesting world building i've seen in fantasy games imo. it's also campy, gay and a little silly. still adore it (obligatory fem!mage!Hawke edit of the cover)

okay let's start with an underrated banger. i fucking love Vampyr. it's innovative, interesting, fun and, sure, rough around the edges, but overall a complete Gothic masterpiece. no game i've played so far does Gothic like Vampyr does. to me, chef's kiss!
