The rain finally stopped and I got to the bike shop to buy a few accessories to complete my cold weather riding gear. Right now its around freezing in the morning when inside to work, 55 after work for the ride home at highway speed. My jacket is perforated, but the hoodie is rubberized for cold.

My Friday night plans were to draw and listen to music. My record collection is still pretty small, maybe 30 records. I'm trying to really limit myself in purchasing only 'must have' albums, and my latest @bandcamp.com purchase arrived in the mail.

Finally had the opportunity to take my Pan America off-road yesterday. Me and a buddy braved some fire roads in the mountains north of Frederick, MD. Mostly gravel, but a few washed out rock scrambles to get through. All went well! I am shit at taking photos, so this is all you'll get from me.

I was planning on spending the day inking, but found these nestlings under a tree in the back yard. I put them back in the nest with gloves, but didn't see a bird approach them, so we decided to bring them in and nurse them to health. Two of the three are taking water and wet dog food.

Went for a nice long motorcycle ride yesterday, visiting friends and family along the way. When I rode through Berkely Springs, WV, there was a protest happening at city hall. I raised my hand in solidarity as I cruised through and ignited cheers from the crowd. It's everywhere. We are one!
